ROUTINE PRACTICE & MINDSET: Dry fire is part of my morning workout/practice routine. It has to be done, just like making the bed when I get up or feeding my dogs. It's not a hobby, not a job, it's a necessity, a responsibility, because I consciously choose to carry a gun every day. There are days I don't want to be bothered or I'm in a rush, but still do it, still find 5-15 min to put the work in. Making time to practice a skill that is highly perishable and because if I ever have to shoot for real I'll probably only get one chance and I'm accountable for every round. It doesn't have to be a lot, it just has to be consistent, a necessary routine. The only question, the only obstacle is determining how necessary you think it is? Of equal importance this routine makes me get my head straight before I go out for the day. It makes me acknowledge that bad things happen to good people every single day, that I'm responsible for mine and my families safety and that practice without intent is wasted energy and motion. @nltsirt @sosbyblades #shotmaxx #dryfire #mdts #trainpracticetest #mindset #routine #workdonebeforethesun #pfc #shivworks @shivworks_and_alumni @pfc_training @aprillriskconsulting @immediateactioncombatives @llindenman @sharpdefense
