The MDTS Shotgun Skills & Drills course focuses on specific skill sets chosen by the instructor and/or topics and skills requested by the student body. Once topics are chosen the day will be spent learning proper technique then time will be spent practicing these techniques and skills under the guidance of MDTS instructors and staff. Topics will may include but are not limited to: fundamental marksmanship, manipulations, speed shooting, strong hand only shooting, support hand shooting, bilateral shooting, movement, cover & concealment, positional shooting, close range, extended distance shooting and more… The skills & drills course provides attendees with the opportunity to fine tune previously learned skills or learn new ones while putting rounds downrange in an organized practice session. Content will challenge those new to shooting as well as the experienced shooter. A proper understanding of safe gun-handling is required prior to enrolling in this course; Practical Shotgun Skills 1 is highly recommended prior to attending.

***Lunch is limited to 30-40 minutes max and is often a “working” lunch where discussion of specific aspects related to the days class or a module of instruction is presented. Therefore it is highly recommended you bring a bag lunch.
