The MDTS Home and Family Defense Skills course provides the home defender with immediately accessible knowledge, skills, and information to properly prepare an effective home defense. Understanding the mindset you need to have, the mindset of potential assailants and common home vulnerabilities is key to an effective home defense. Dry fire drilling of tactics, force-on-force drills and scenarios in light and low light provides attendees with realistic feedback and validation of the skills taught. There is NO LIVE FIRE in this course and it is strongly suggested that you attend this course with a spouse, partner or other family member since they will likely be the only “Help” you will have until authorities can respond.
