CONCEALED CARRY: MDTS Principle of Concealed Carry- Mechanical controls such as safeties, slide stop/release, de-cockers and magazine release should all be accessible when operating one handed without compromising the final firing grip, strong & support sides. The handgun should be ergonomic for the individual operators hand, maximizing comfort and fit, allowing ready access to any and all mechanical controls. Proper handgun ergonomics maximizes dexterity and minimizes hand fatigue allowing the most efficient two handed and one hand operation. Initial grip on the concealed handgun during presentation is essential to fast and efficient access and first round hits on target. When the final firing grip (FFG) is compromised due to size or shifting in hand to reach the mechanical controls its often difficult to re-grip the gun in the same manner making follow on shots after a reload or malfunction problematic. #mdts #training #concealedcarry #covertcarry #practicalconcealedcarry #pistol #handgun
