The MDTS Practical Shotgun Skills class is designed for anyone interested in personal protection with a shotgun. Through a combination of lecture, discussion, dry-fire and live fire drills students will develop familiarization and proficiency with their personal shotgun. This class is ideal for home defense with your smoothbore. It is set up for the Remington 870, 1100, 1187 and Mossberg 500 and 590 platforms but other platforms can and have been used in this class effectively.

Unthinkable! is, in brief, a tour of the dark side of criminal violence. In a series of lectures, attendees will undertake a fast-paced and interactive overview of how dangerous aggressors think as they decide whom to victimize. This presentation will review common mental and philosophical errors made by practitioners as they plan for what they hope will never happen: a determined attack by a violent criminal intent on killing you and those you love. Attendees will be exposed to a practical method for undertaking the pre-need decision-making necessary to a sound self-defense and survival mindset, providing increased awareness and a clear path to maximize their capacity for self-protection.
