About Us
Modern Defensive Training Systems offer's a variety of courses for Responsible Citizens, Corporations, Schools, Law Enforcement and the Military with a singular goal of providing realistic, practical defensive training.
All of our courses including the Unarmed Combative Skills Series, Defense Against Edged/Impact Weapons, Defensive Edged Weapons Series, Combative Pistol Series, Combative Carbine Series, Combative Shotgun Series and Close Quarter Tactics utilize proven adult learning strategies and methods essential to integration, retention and immediate recall of learned skills.
The MDTS training curriculums differ from other training providers in that we offer all our courses in 4hr. blocks of instruction. We understand that Citizens, Police Officers and/or Military Servicemen/women time is important to them. Some people just do not have or cannot take 8-16 hrs. out of their schedules to attend training. This is the MDTS way of providing training courses in a convenient, digestible manner without reducing the quality or efficacy of instruction.
